Tyler is from DeBary, Florida, and joined the firm in February of 2020. He is licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Alabama and is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Alabama. 

Although he handles a wide array of legal issues, Tyler is a zealous advocate in the areas of criminal defense, expungements and pardons, and defending families against the Department of Human Resources. He is also a member of the National College for DUI Defense, the National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

Tyler received his B.A. in Political Science from Stetson University, and his law degree  from University of Tennessee College of Law with a concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. He is a William M. Leech, Jr. Public Service Prize Recipient and served as a panelist at the Tennessee Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission’s 2019 Pro Bono Summit.
